Community Service
Our sanctuary is always open even to kids from the community to come in and learn about God in a fun way.
Community Service Center
Adventist Community Services meets people’s immediate needs through social services such as tutoring and mentoring programs, Youth Volunteer Corps, health screening education and assistance, inner city missions, and disaster response.
Story Hour
The Story Hour ministry at Co-Op City SDA Church is held every other Saturday at 3.30 PM. During the Story Hour ministry community children and their parents come in to learn about God in an interactive, fun way. They play bible games, watch puppet shows and sing songs of praise to God. Through this program many parents and their children have been drawn closer to God and have benefited from other programs of the church. With donations from the church members, parents and their children from the neighboring shelters are fed and clothed. With more donations, the program will continue to serve the needs of the less privileged members of the community.
